Named after a lifeguard chair and locals gathering spot on Narragansett Town Beach, Chair 5 is the signature restaurant at The Break — Narragansett, Rhode Island’s only boutique hotel.
Using ingredients that are locally sourced, Chair 5 handcrafts seasonally inspired menus prepared with simplicity and style by our culinary team and has quickly become a local favorite for Narragansett dining.
Our Bistro restaurant is an elevated – yet casual – beach inspired bistro on the main level of the hotel serving everything from fresh raw bar, to Rhode Island classics. You’ll enjoy the food as well as the surfer-chic vibe!

Open Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays @ 3pm for drinks & charcuterie, 5pm for dinner menu.
Closed Sunday - Wednesday.
**Week of March 17th, 2025 the Bistro will only be open on Friday & Saturday at 3pm for drinks & charcuterie only (no full dinner menu).**
Dining reservations are encouraged, however we also always welcome walk-ins as first come, first serve with seating in the bistro bar area.
The rooftop dining/bar on 4th floor is closed to the public during the off season, but available to rent for private events. Inquire today!
